Created in 1994, the Association for the Regional Economic Development (ADER) is a non-profit-making association. Its objective is to participate in the struggle against poverty and in the socio-economic development of the countries in which it works. Its actions are positioned within a sustainable development approach.

ADER helps in marginalised communities and with resourceless people in the following domains:

Improvement of habitat, notably by helping to purchase property, construction and renovation of houses and improvement of way of life.
Setting up adapted credit plans in order to produce a dynamic durable economy and to improve people's way of life.
Functional structuring of civil society that allows people to become organized, to give them a voice and, above all, to attain defined project objectives.
Education, reinforcement of local role-players abilities with an eye toward responsibility and professionalization.
